Aston Martin V8 Vantage 2005 – 2009

Aston Martin Lagonda has always been a company with pure passion and a great legacy as one of the world’s most coveted car manufactures. You might have guessed it from the headline, this month’s article is involving the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, 2006 – 2009 model. This is nowhere near Aston Martins flagship model, but in my optic it is a pure GT (gran turismo) car and one of the best cars they have ever build besides the classical DBS and DB5. Not only is it one of Aston Martins best cars, but this car also belongs to one of the best ever built GT. The competitors that might come close is Alfa Romero 8C Competizione, BMW Z4 etc.

What makes the Aston martin so great is the fact that it is hand build in England. It gives the car a very charismatic feeling to it. The pure music it makes from the exhausts is like nothing else! If you haven’t  heard it, make sure you go and do so. All the aspects of this car and the attention to detail is in my opinion what makes it the best GT car out on the market. The only letdowns should be the problems with reliability and other technical Issues. They have had problems with the motor and electrical. But that is the consequences there is with smaller production companies. But other than that it is a wonderful car with the right package. There is a lot of different coloring schemes out there, so there should be one for everyone.

Go check www.Mobile.de to see many different Aston Martins for sale!

Is it going to be a hotshot of an investment? I personally think It will eventually. But it’s going to take some time. Right now the prices is “low” for a decent mileage. The prices start from around 31.000 € (35.000 $)and goes all the way 70.000 € (78.000 $) for the good condition models. Watch out buying the cheapest once. They can be hard driven and therefore more exposed for technical problems and higher wear. Look for one-hand owners and with as much original optional extra. Remember to look for the once with the manual gear, that should be ones that really going to increase in value. The automatic gear is not as refined as the manual one and the feeling the manual gearbox brings to the whole driving experience is what completes the package of the ultimate GT car ever build.

If you thinking about buying one, I think the time is about right. The prices is low at the moment, the rapid introduction of electrical as well as alternative fuel driven cars, is changing the market completely. Because of these tendencies, I think the hunger for pure V8 driven and manual gearbox cars is increasing rapidly as well and therefor the time gap for getting this wonderful car to such a great prices is disappearing.

  4. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appearance. I must say you’ve done a fantastic job with this. Also, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Safari. Excellent Blog!
